Here, it is bitter cold and there is no shelter so you better be prepared with a thick fur coat. The only water source is a small spring that gushes from a boulder, but it is most of the time frozen and then you have to break the ice in order to reach the small trickle. Arctic hare roam here, and some caribou and elk do too. Dead trees dot the area, their branches coated with snow like everything else here. Sometimes, when the night is clear, you can see the Aurora Borealis, nature's lightshow of color in the sky.
